Time for a laugh

Have you laughed today? I don't mean a snigger but more of a eye watering, I almost peed my pants kind. Have you? I haven't .. But I should have, it is so good for you if you are stressed it also helps make your brain more powerful so that's good any day.
- a lovely poster I saw today that is so true

What makes you laugh? Me, lots of things. I'm ticklish so that's a easy way to make me laugh, I also love making funny noises and looking at old photos of me or people I know. Here are the best, or worst in some cases ...
- this is me very little sledging with a very ugly hat on

- this is my little sister with cherries everywhere
- here is another photo of my sister with her two dolls that are "sleeping"

- I will put this down as NO COMMENT but it is funny

So today is April the first, April fools day. What did you do? A general joke or a "kick me" tag on someones back. In France people make paper fish and stick them on other people's backs.

Jokes ... What can you say about jokes, everyone loves them and everyone makes them. They can be rude, really funny or just really dumb. The british are known for having a very sarcastic humour, like making jokes about blonde people! I have blonde hair, I've never dyed it, it's just naturally blonde. People say that if you have blonde hair that means you are stupid, at first it's funny but after hearing it everyday, all day it can get very annoying. I didn't chose my hair (I wanted ginger hair) and just because I'm blonde doesn't mean I'm stupid!

Spring has come early

I live in the south of France and it is known for being very hot but for the last years spring and summer have been coming a lot later in the year. Last year in May, the day I came home from London, we put the heating on. But for the last 2 weeks it has been very, very hot. Last weekend I went for a walk in sandals, shorts and a shirt but I was still very hot. On my walk and in my garden, I took some photos of the "early" spring around us.

- a beautiful flower

- my lovely sandals that magically still fit me even though I have grown a lot

Pro race 2014

So yesterday I went to see my first pro race (except for the Tour de France) and it was absolutely AMAZING! My Dad and me left at 7:15 and came home at 5:00 but seriously it was totally worth it.
Because my club organised the trip it we got to meet Thomas Damuseau, a professional from team Giant-Shimano. He was so nice and signed photos and showed us his bike with electric shifting.

- here is Thomas Damuseau answering my clubs questions.

Before the riders left, the teams did an intro of all the riders and my Dad heard that there was a Japanese cyclist so he asked him to take a photo with me.

- this is Fumiyuki Beppu from team Trek Factory Racing and me.

We got to see the buses of the teams and they were amazing. We also got to visit team Bretagne-Séché Environemments bus, even if it looks small on the outside there are seats for the journey, a kitchen, a shower and a massive conference room with live television.

- this is me in front of teams Omega Pharma-Quick.Step who Mark Cavendish rides for.

I seriously loved this day out and it really inspired me to train to one day be able to race like that.

Here are some other photos of yesterday. I hope you enjoyd this post.

- I loved the side of team Ekoi's car so I took a photo of it

- Thomas Damuseau and his amazing Giant bike

- after the gorges of the Ardeche they still have 140 km to the end

- to finish the day off we got a beautiful sunset.

New to my face ! 2014

If you know me then you would know that I have to wear glasses ! Since about 1 year ago my vision changed so I had to change my glasses ! If you wear glasses then you would know that choosing them is extremely hard, it took me 1 hour to choose them but I at last have them.

If you are going to choose glasses here are some tips for you :

 1. Don't buy them online, try them on !
 2. Make sure that they are comfortable
 3. Make yourself a price budget and stick to it !
 4. Ask for more than one opinion
 5. Choose a good shape for your face
 6. Don't bring your siblings as they are very DISTRACTING with the glasses, ex. trying them on, saying that every pair you try on are ugly.

But the most important is that you like them !

Snow ..

Even if we didn't have a white christmas like I so desired, yesterday at the end of afternoon the snow revealed itself. It snowed continuously for 3 hours and in the end we ended up with 8 cm of snow.

I really love snow, it is a magical thing, all fluffy and wet, I don't even mind the wetness that it brings to your clothes, because there is nothing better after hours of sledding and snowball fights than a nice hot chocolate with whipped cream. Ever since I was little I loved the snow, as where I live it can get very cold in the winter.
this is very old photos of me ... if you were wondering

Anyway in general I love snow and was very happy when the electricity went off and got send home early from school.
